Specializing in hand made leather belts, holsters, cases, sewing and custom work.
R&W Custom Leatherworks, is operated by leather artisans Dan Ragan and Wiz Feinberg. We hand make leather belts, cases, dog collars and leashes, guitar straps, handgun holsters, knife sheathes, rifle slings, wallets, and various items to your specifications or measurements. We are a small custom shop, doing mostly one of a kinds, or short runs of bridle leather belts, or leather repairs.
Most of our leather goods are produced in our own leather shop in Birch Run, Michigan. We also support some other US based manufacturers and suppliers and use the best quality leather, patches, buckles and hardware. Our stitched goods, like heavy belts, straps and holsters, are stitched with the strongest thread that can be sewn into that thickness. Our work is meant to last a very long time. We are able to sew material up to 7/8 inch thickness.
In addition to working with leather, we can also sew and repair vinyl goods (e.g., Naugahyde) and replace zippers in garments, boots and purses and sew embroidered patches onto leather vests and jackets. Our extra-heavy-duty Cowboy CB4500 leather stitching machine is capable of sewing not only leather, but also buffing wheels, car wash drying rags, saddlery, bioplastic and webbing harnesses and reins, gun holsters and police or fire department gear.
